About Those Blogging Goals…

My plan for not falling behind on my reviews this year has fallen by the wayside. (Cue dramatic sigh and forlorn expression.) My hopes were high and I got off to a good start, but then it just… fizzled out.

As of today, I have five (FIVE?!) review drafts waiting to be finished on WordPress. I just finished reading another book a little while ago, that puts me at six reviews needing to be written. And so I’m way behind again… damn it.

The books I have read and not yet reviewed are:

  • The Scribe of Siena by Melodie Winawer
  • The Phantom Limb by Lucinda Berry
  • The Silent Wife by Kerry Fisher
  • Abby’s Journey by Steena Holmes Review posted 02/14/2017
  • The Mother’s Promise by Sally Hepworth
  • Bad Little Girl by Frances Vick
  • Safe with Me by K.L. Slater

Hopefully, I’ll get at least half of them knocked out by the end of the week.

So now y’all know that I’m still around… still reading… even though I haven’t posted in two weeks. (Yikes… time goes by SO fast!) I’ll do my best not to let so much time go by without posting in the future.

Until next time…

  1. Shame shame on you 😛 Haha, but seriously do not forget you are accomplishing some other more important goals 😉 Although, how do you have so many books to review? I am so awful. I have to review a title as soon as I complete it.. sigh ❤

    1. True, there have been other things on my mind. 🙂

I have a bad habit of diving into a new book immediately after I’ve finished the previous one, and I really need to stop doing that.

  2. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to finish everything, it’ll only make things worse ❤ I promised myself I would not wait too long before reviewing each book but things always get in the way and I have learned the best way is just when you feel it! Inspiration for reviews is like a kid, it never does what you want it to, haha!
I can’t wait to read your thoughts on The Silent Wife, my review is up on the 26th! I reviewed Safe with Me last year and loved it! So creepy!

    1. Seems like my life is constantly getting in the way this week. Every night I’ve planned to write reviews, then something happens and I end up putting it off, again. So frustrating. :-\

I loved The Silent Wife and Safe with Me! Both are really great books. If all goes well, I’ll have the reviews up before the end of the week. Fingers crossed!
