Stacking the Shelves is a meme co-hosted by Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews and Marlene at Reading Reality, where you share the books you’ve added to your shelves in the past week. You can include books you buy, books you borrow, review books, gifts, and ebooks.
This week, I added six books to my shelves. The selected genres this week were memoir, psychological suspense, psychological thriller, fantasy, and historical fiction. Five of these were from Netgalley and Edelweiss, but the last was a physical ARC I received in the mail from Berkley. I was one of the winners in the December 2019 Shelf Awareness Pro sweepstakes for an early copy of The Prisoner’s Wife by Maggie Brooks. I wasn’t notified of winning by email, so it was a delightful surprise when the book was delivered!
Books added the week of January 26 to February 1:
I also entered two Goodreads Giveaways today. While these books aren’t officially on my shelves—not having copies to read as of yet—they are on my Goodreads shelf as a result of entering the giveaways. I’ve decided to include them separately, as I would love to read each of these books at some point.

I hope you enjoy The Choice, I read it last summer under it’s UK title, Anything You Do Say, it’s a good thriller.

Good to hear! I debated over this one for a couple of days, but in the end, the premise of it was irresistible. I expect this will be a book I really enjoy!
