It’s been a looooong time since I’ve reviewed a book, so forgive me if my thoughts come across as being a bit disorganized. To say my review skills are rusty is a big understatement! All right… here we go…

This was a compelling read, even though I knew exactly how it was going to end.

A quick check of the clock proved I still had time to do it, so allow me to present.. <insert drumroll>… my first Music Monday in nearly two years!

Days of Sunshine Days of Shadow by Krista L. Traer

It was enjoyable to read highlights of notable events in the lives of Laura, and both her immediate and extended family. I was unaware of many things that were listed in the earlier portions of the book, so it was a treat to discover those facts. It was fun to read about events I did remember, and it made me want to reread the Little House books all over again.
