Although I could have read The Rise of Magicks quickly, I forced myself to go slowly–to savor the reading experience. Knowing that this was the last piece of the story, I didn’t want to rush through it. It was the right call, because it deepened my enjoyment of the story.

I was (and still am) a huge fan of Charmed. It was one of my must-see TV series back in the day. I loved watching the Charmed Ones battling demons, and trying to have somewhat normal lives in-between vanquishing evil and protecting innocents. It remains a favorite of mine, so I was excited to discover this graphic novel and couldn’t wait to see what sort of trouble was brewing for the sisters.
